For our office in Hattem we are looking for an enthusiastic buyer. You report to the COO (operational director).

In this position :

  • You are responsible for the operational planning.
  • Analyze data to make purchasing decisions;
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times to ensure inventory is delivered on time;
  • Drawing up purchase orders for products manufactured in Europe;
  • Planning of components that are assembled into end products in the Netherlands.
  • You negotiate European purchasing and production contracts, with KPIs for cost control, quality and timely delivery.
  • Check your Purchase Orders
  • Responsible for communication with local and European suppliers about all PO and stock requirements;
  • Management of products and data for all European articles and suppliers;
  • Checking lead times;.
  • Monitor and report purchase orders, inventory levels and forecasts;
  • Consultation with other departments (e.g. sales/marketing, product safety/integrity department, etc.).
  • You support the planning process for production and assembly
  • Assisting in the selection of assembly facilities;
  • Creating production orders for assembly and checking and reporting the assembly schedules;
  • Communicate with all stakeholders about assembly (e.g. sales/marketing, product safety/integrity department, etc.);
  • Ensure that components and finished products are stored and transported cost-efficiently;
  • Ensure that finished items are delivered to the warehouse on time to meet sales forecast and customer orders.

Are you proactive, solution-oriented, analytical and able to work under pressure? If you also have the following, then you are the ideal candidate:

  • MBO/HBO working level;
  • Knowledge and/or experience within the logistics sector;
  • Flexible and hands on mentality;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ERP programs
  • Good level of English;
  • Knowledge of French/German is an advantage.
