NL / BE / DE

The Key Account Manager is responsible for all the Non-Traditional Retail channels (Discount / DIY / Petrol / Loyalty). This includes key customers such as Action / Kruidvat. Also, you are responsible for a couple of major key accounts in Germany, including Aldi / Lidl, etc. In this role you report to the Regional Director Northern Europe.

The role is a very strategic one. As Key Account manager NTR you are the one to determine how to take our NTR accounts to another level. Which steps do you take the coming three years to develop or increase activities? You determine, develop, and implements a successful long-term growth strategy. You direct your own channels and relations and maintain overview of the entire business process.

Besides your key accounts, you decide with the brand managers and operations team on the ranges/products for the various retailers in the different countries. To ensure alignment, you regularly consult with the various Sales Managers in the regions to discuss the commercial plans. You also have regular contact with the Marketing Manager NL / BE / DE to have activities match or not.

As a Key Account Manager NTR you manage the business from A to Z across multiple disciplines and channels. Besides being enormously dynamic, the job requires creativity and high energy levels.


  • 4+ years of work experience in business development, preferably from retail or FMCG
  • HBO working and thinking level
  • Own network in the sector
  • Strong negotiating experience and qualities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercial and strategic mindset
  • Pragmatic can-do mentalities
  • Absolute pre is knowledge of the German language
